★Ingredients
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme (or any herbs you like)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
★Instructions
Prepare the Mixture
In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
Shape the Patties
Take a small amount of the chicken mixture and shape it into a patty. You can make them as big or small as you like. If needed, coat the patties with extra breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
Heat the Oil
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry the Patties
Fry the patties in batches, cooking each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Drain and Serve
Place the cooked patties on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy!!
