Italian candied noodles

★Ingredients

1 lb Italian sausage meat

12 oz egg noodles (cooked as desired)

3 tsp chopped garlic

2 peppers (cut into small pieces)

½ cup white cooking wine

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp dried basil

28 oz diced tomatoes (with juice)

Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)

Salt and pepper (to taste)

★Instructions

In a large pan over medium-high heat, cook the sausage and peppers until the sausage browns and peppers soften.

Reduce the heat to medium. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for 30 seconds.

Pour in the wine, simmering until it reduces by half.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add the cooked noodles and toss to combine until fully heated.

Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
