★Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease loaf pans or use aluminum pans like in the photo.
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs: Beat in eggs one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Start and finish with the flour mixture.
Bake: Divide the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Honey Glaze: While the cakes are baking, warm the honey in a small saucepan until it’s runny and slightly thickened.
Glaze the Cake: When the cakes are done, poke small holes with a skewer or toothpick and pour the warm honey glaze over them while they are still hot. Let the cakes absorb the glaze and cool completely.
