This Minced Meat and Cheese Rice Casserole is a delicious dish that is perfect for family dinners. This recipe combines the rich flavors of seasoned minced meat and a delicious tomato sauce, with layers of cooked rice and melted cheese that adds a creamy texture and irresistible deliciousness. ★Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cups cooked rice

1 tsp paprika

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup tomato sauce

1 tsp ground cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or a blend of cheeses)

1/2 cup heavy cream or sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

★Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the meat: In a large pan, sauté the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook for another 5 minutes until the onions are softened.

Season the meat: Stir in the tomato sauce, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to combine the flavors.

Prepare the rice: If not already done, cook your rice according to package instructions.

Assemble the casserole: In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked rice at the bottom. Spread half of the meat mixture over the rice. Sprinkle a layer of cheese on top. Repeat the process with the remaining rice, meat, and cheese.
