Creamy Hawaiian Pasta Salad: A delicious and easy-to-prepare recipe, featuring a blend of sweet and sour flavors. Perfect as a side dish with grilled meats or as a snack, served cold and suitable for parties and barbecues.

★Ingredients (for 8 portions)

½ cup of diced celery

2 cups of dry elbow macaroni

1½ cups of mayonnaise

½ cup of grated carrots

¼ cup of minced sweet onion

2 thinly sliced green onions

2 teaspoons of oil

¼ cup of apple cider vinegar

¼ cup of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of ground pepper

★Instructions

  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the vinegar, oil, salt, sugar, and pepper.
  • Toss the warm macaroni into the vinegar mixture and stir well. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Add the celery, carrots, sweet onion, and green onions.
  • Stir in the mayonnaise until everything is coated well.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
