Fresh fig salad with honey and goat cheese

★Ingredients

4 oz (115 g) goat cheese

6-8 fresh ripe figs

2 tbsp honey

2 cups mixed salad greens

1/4 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

A pinch of salt and pepper

Balsamic glaze (optional)

★Instructions

Prepare the figs: Wash the fresh figs and slice them into quarters.

Arrange the salad: On a serving plate, spread the mixed salad greens.

Add cheese and figs: Crumble the goat cheese on top of the greens, and arrange the fig slices.

Drizzle with honey and oil: Pour the honey and olive oil over the figs and cheese.

Add nuts (optional): If using, sprinkle walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.

Season: Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

Optional finish: Drizzle with balsamic glaze for added sweetness.
