Soft chocolate bread

★Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 1/4 tsp instant yeast

1/4 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup warm milk

1 large egg

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1 egg (for egg wash)

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

Add the warm milk, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

  1. Add Chocolate Chips:

Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the dough.

  1. First Rise:

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

  1. Shape the Buns:

Once the dough has risen, divide it into equal-sized balls (about 8-10 pieces).

Shape each piece into a round bun and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray.

  1. Second Rise:

Cover the buns with a clean towel and let them rise again for about 30-45 minutes.

  1. Egg Wash:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Brush the tops of the buns with a beaten egg for a golden, shiny finish.

  1. Bake:

Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

  1. Serve:
