1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter (plus more for greasing the pan)
1 egg, lightly beaten
★Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter.
Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until well distributed.
Prepare wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and the beaten egg.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until just combined (don’t overmix).
Pour into loaf pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
