For the Filling:

1/4 finely sliced onion

1 lb ground beef

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp ranch seasoning

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

0.8 liters (about 3 1/2 cups) melted cream cheese

For the Dough:

1/4 cup melted butter (optional for brushing)

1 (16 oz) can of crescent rolls

Optional Add-ins:

1 finely sliced jalapeño

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or pepper jack cheese

★Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the beef: In a large pan over medium heat, sauté the ground beef and onions until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Add ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Make the filling: In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  4. Prepare the dough: Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into squares or triangles.
  5. Assemble the bites: Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each dough piece. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Optionally, brush with melted butter.

Enjoy!
