★Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs*
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
- Cook the Meatball*
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
- Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. You may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Once browned, remove the meatballs and set them aside.
- Make the Sauce*
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine and Bake*
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the meatballs in an oven-safe dish and pour the tomato sauce over them.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Enjoy!
