★Instructions
Chill the Equipment* Place your mixing bowl and beaters or whisk attachment in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to chill. This helps the cream whip faster.
Pour the Cream* Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into the chilled mixing bowl. If you’re adding vanilla extract for flavor, you can add it now.
Start Whipping* Begin whipping the cream at a low speed, gradually increasing to medium-high as the cream thickens. This should take about 3-5 minutes. You’ll notice soft peaks forming initially.
Monitor Texture* Keep whipping until the cream reaches the desired consistency. It should be thick enough to hold its shape but still creamy and spreadable.
Serve or Store* Use the whipped cream immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to a few hours. It’s best served fresh.
