Quick glazed salmon with a delicious and easy recipe

★Ingredients

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon sriracha (optional, for heat)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker glaze)

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)

★Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if they have skin.

Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, and sriracha (if using). Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.

If you prefer a thicker glaze, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth. Add this mixture to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, for another 1-2 minutes until the glaze is thickened.

Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the glaze over each fillet to coat evenly.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize slightly on the salmon.

Enjoy!
