★Ingredients
For the Cake*
- 1 box of white cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies)
For the Frosting*
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies)
For Decoration*
- Whole Oreo cookies (optional)

- Preheat and Prepare Pans*
- Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or line them with parchment paper.
- Make the Cake*
- Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions.
- Gently fold in the 1 cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake according to the package instructions, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the Frosting*
- In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until the frosting is light and fluffy.
- Fold in the 1 cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
- Assemble the Cake*
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand.
- Spread a layer of frosting on top.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the first.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
- Decorate*
- If desired, decorate the cake with whole Oreo cookies on top.
- You can also sprinkle some additional crushed Oreo cookies over the top and sides of the cake.
