Lipton Slow Cooker Fries with Onions


1 large onion, thinly sliced

4-5 large potatoes, sliced into fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste


  • Prepare the Potatoes and Onions★

Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them into fries of your desired thickness.

Thinly slice the onion.

  • Season the Fries★

In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes and onions.

Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.

Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the potatoes and onions. If desired, add garlic powder and paprika for extra flavor.

Toss everything together to ensure the fries and onions are well coated with the seasoning.

  • Cook in the Slow Cooker★

Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with a bit of olive oil or non-stick spray.

Transfer the seasoned potatoes and onions into the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking. The fries should be tender and flavorful when done.
