Cheesecake rolls


1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 large egg

For the Rolls*

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 package (16 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/4 cup melted butter

1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Topping (optional)*

Powdered sugar for dusting

Fresh berries or berry compote

  • Preheat the Oven*
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the Filling*
  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Prepare the Dough*
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Assemble the Rolls*
  • Place a spoonful of the cheesecake filling at the wider end of each crescent triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end, ensuring the filling is enclosed within the dough.
  • Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Add Topping*
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle this mixture over the buttered rolls.
  • Bake*
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
