Flat bread on the tawa in 10 minutes

★Ingredients

1 cup yogurt (220 g)

4 cups flour (480 g)

3/4 cup water (200 ml)

★Instructions

Mix the Dough★

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and yogurt. Gradually add the water while mixing until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not too sticky. If it’s too sticky, add a bit more flour. If too dry, add a bit more water.

Knead the Dough

On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Divide the Dough

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.

Roll Out the Flatbreads

Using a rolling pin, roll out each dough ball into a flat circle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Cook the Flatbreads

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, place one of the rolled-out dough circles onto the skillet.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles start to form and the bottom is golden brown.

Flip the flatbread and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Repeat with the remaining dough circles.

Enjoy!
