Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Caesar with Mushrooms Recipe


1 cup sliced mushrooms

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup Caesar salad dressing

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


  • Prepare the Chicken
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown and tender, about 5 minutes.

  • Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine the Caesar salad dressing, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.

  • Assemble in Slow Cooker

Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Add the sautéed mushrooms over the chicken.

Pour the Caesar dressing mixture over the top, ensuring the chicken and mushrooms are well coated.

  • Cook

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
