Chocolate and whole wheat flour hand cookies

★Ingredients

1 cup sugar

4 eggs

1/2 cup melted butter

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons baking powder

1/2 cup chocolate flour

★Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven*
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • Prepare the Batter*
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until they are well beaten.
  • Add the sugar to the eggs and continue whisking until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Pour in the melted butter and milk, and mix well to combine.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients*
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the whole wheat flour, chocolate flour, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Form the Cakes*
  • Using a spoon or a small scoop, drop portions of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  • Gently shape each portion into a rough hand-sized shape, if desired.
  • Bake*
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool*
  • Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy!
