- Preheat the Oven*
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly. - Prepare the Batter*
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until they are well beaten.
- Add the sugar to the eggs and continue whisking until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Pour in the melted butter and milk, and mix well to combine.
- Combine Dry Ingredients*
- In a separate bowl, sift together the whole wheat flour, chocolate flour, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Form the Cakes*
- Using a spoon or a small scoop, drop portions of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
